Hi — I'm working in thesis and I just installed this widget. I'm not sure if there's something I need to do before having it show up in my sidebar, but I've put the widget in the appropriate place via the widget dashboard part of my site (on the back end). The thing still isn't appearing on the front end, though I'm not sure why…
My site is: http://www.dailypiscator.com

Scratch that — I got it to work (I think)… it's not displaying my latest tweets (goes to my "twitter is down" message), but it's there in the sidebar now.
Just a tip in case someone else has the same problem — make sure you put in the full URL of your twitter page and not just your shortened twitter ID — maybe it's obvious to everyone else but it wasn't to me…
Also — is there a way to change the styling? In my case I need to change the font color that appears in my the widget's header in my sidebar…

To change the styling, there are CSS classes on all major elements. Just use them to style whatever you want.
As for the twitter username, it really does need JUST the username, not the whole URL. For example, to track http://twitter.com/xavisys I just enter xavisys in that field.

Hi, I'm having the same problem except I haven't been in able to figure out. My site is http://www.patriciakarina.com/blog. The widget was installed successfully and I dragged the widget to the appropriate sidebar but it's still not showing up.
Please advice :)

Unfortunately, I have no idea why it's not showing. Are the widgets above and below it showing?
