I have the Twitter Widget set to hide the RSS icon and link
[Image Can Not Be Found]
Yet on my site, the RSS icon and link are there:

Those are default settings and are used mostly for calling the widget directly from PHP or using the shortcode. If you're actually using the Widget (installed by going to WP-Amin -> Appearance -> Widgets) then each copy of the widget you drag to the sidebar has it's own settings (that look very similar to those). The settings there override the defaults.

The arrow in the top right displays or hides the settings (for all WordPress widgets, not just Twitter Widget Pro)

Whoops, spoke to soon. I'm now editing the settings in the widget. The "Show Profile Image" will only turn OFF in the widget if it is turned off in the overall settings area.
They can't be different.

I'll try to take a look at this. I've added it to my list of TODOs.

I have changed the settings and deactivated and reactivated the plugin. I see no change and there is no connection to Twitter. There once was.
