Is there a way to move the date to below the twitter post, to the line just below the post? I don't want them on the same line.

Like putting in an html </br> before the date?

It's a bit late but the solution is quite easy (in case anyone else want's this).

 

In the file wp-twitter-widget.php find line 510 (in case you don't have line numbers, search for $widgetContent .= " <span class='entry-meta'>";)

 

add a new line after 510 with the following code:

$widgetContent .= "<br />";

 

easy as pie eh! ;)
