Thanks 4 the pro plugin :)

As you know this plugin is being used in many languages. Some of them like Arabic are RTL. However, the @username part in twitter is always LTR. So my suggestion is to amend the below function in

wp-twitter-widget.php

by including the additional dir attribute as shown below:

 

    private function _linkTwitterUsersCallback($matches) {
        $linkAttrs = array(
            'href'    => 'http://twitter.com/' . urlencode($matches[2]),
            'dir'    => 'ltr',
            'class'    => 'twitter-user'
        );
        return $matches[1] . $this->_buildLink('@'.$matches[2], $linkAttrs);
    }
