Hi, my name is Olaf, I manage a small martial arts club web site http://www.hapkido.org.au and we use WP Google Maps plugin.  After dealing with an "Error Establishing a Database Connection" and pointing the config.sys to the right server, user etc. our Web site now throws up this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/mar9890/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-maps-for-wordpress/wp-google-maps.php on line 66

 

If I take out the WP Google Maps plugin (e.g. by renaming the folder in CPanel) it throws up this error:

Fatal error: Nesting level too deep – recursive dependency? in /home/mar9890/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 508

 

The error occurs at the root directy http://www.hapkido.org.au and when I try to get in to wp-admin.  I am stuck as I cannot even get in to wp-admin to temporarily disable the plugin.

Can anyone help?

Hi, should have looked through out your forum to see others have already requested advice on this. Sorry to waste your time. I will see if I can fix it following earlier advice. Cheers Olaf.
