 i have a map 400px x 400px, in any browser the map is fine but the get directions box is 4-500px wide and as a result you can only see half of it.

 

Is there a way to resize the get directions box so it's say 180 x 180?

Navigate to your \wp-content\plugins\google-maps-for-wordpress\js\ folder and open up the file called "wp-google-maps-js" (best to use Notepad++ for this).

Line 15: '<form action="" id="directions_#{mapNum}" onsubmit="return wpGMaps.getDirections(this);" style="margin-bottom:2em; width:150px;">' +

I added the width property for the entire bubble

 

Line 17: '<input type="text" style="width:150px; "margin-bottom:2em;" size="40" maxlength="40" name="new_addr" id="new_addr_#{mapNum}" /><br />' +
Width was set to 90% I changed this to a fixed with of 150px

Line 18: '<input type="text" style="width:150px; "margin-bottom:2em;" size="40" maxlength="40" name="new_addr" id="new_addr_#{mapNum}" /><br />' +            '<input value="Get Directions" style="width:110px;" type="submit" />' +
Again the width is changed from 90% and in this case to 110px, this is the line that defines the actual button.
Hope that helps, great wordpress plugin, by far and away the easiest to update with the most features to start with. Thanks a bunch Aaron :)
