Hello

Nice work with this plugin.

I installed it and after a while I saw that it breaks in IE7 and IE6.

After I cheked also from a friend I saw that also on your homepage it gives a javascript error

"Line: 151

Char:6

Error: Expected identifier, string or number"

and it shows a big blink space instead of the slideshow.

I thought that you might know how it could be solved.

Thank you

Hello I'm back with a quick fix.

In featured-content-showcase.php at line 462 added

echo ' \\'\\': \\'\\' ';

after the loop.

It's the comma after the last element in settings that breaks the javascript in IE6 and IE7.

Maybe you would consider a better solution.

For me seemed better than a conditional statement in the loop.

The plugin works fine in IE8 (check the front page of this site).  I'll need to get my hands on IE7 (I don't have it on this system) and take a look.  IE 6 may or may not work, but will not be officially supported.

Upset at my slow responses recently? Please read my explanation.

Saddly there are still a lot of people who use this browsers (IE6 and IE7).

I use a tool from here http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage

It helps me see how bad my sites will look in IE6 and IE7, and to decide what problems worth the effort.

It supports also other versions of IE.
