| | I've been attempting to use the checkbox where, if you linked the document in a post, it does not include the attachment in the list of attachments. It doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. (?) |

| | Can you link to a page where that's not working? | |

| | Yes, here: http://thatcloudlookslikearabbit.com/blo…..t-manager/ I have selected the "don't show attachment if the attachment is linked in the post" (not verbatim, sorry) in the plug-in settings. Also, I have selected "all posts". If I pick "some posts", how does it know which posts to show the attachments on? Mine seem to go away entirely. |

| | The problem is that the file itself is not linked to in the post. Instead, you link to a page that links to the file. As for choosing "some posts" …if you choose that you'll see a new option on the edit posts screen that will let you choose to show the attachments for that post (it's a checkbox). | |

| | That helps a lot! Thanks! Is there any chance you could extend the "show attachments" checkbox to pages, too? I'm working on a corporate intranet site, and we have loads of pdf attachments everywhere. Thanks! |

| | That will be in the next version, along with moving the check box into a meta box (to match the new Admin look/fee). | |

| | 2.1.1 was just tagged and released. It should be available in the next 15 minutes from the wordpress.org repository and sometimes in the next few hours from your WordPress admin. This version includes the checkbox on the page edit screen. | |

Aaron – I applied the update and don't see the box when I go to edit or create a new page. Hmmm…. |

| | I have had a couple reports that installing the new version reset the "All Posts"/"Some Posts" setting back to All Posts. When I have it installed and set to "Some posts" I see the meta box that looks like this:

| | Thank you… that worked perfectly. The only remaining issue I have is that the plug-in isn't sorting in the same alphabetical way I'm sorting my WP gallery.. So if I have 20 documents attached, it seems to be showing attachments in the order I add them to the gallery; not in the alphabetic way I resort them. |
