Playing around with this plugin, i added a PDF attachment, all looks good.

Then went to erase it, and add different file, and the original file is still showing? strange? how do i purge it or get rid of it.

As long as you delete the attachment through WordPress, it should disappear from the attachment list as well (unless you have caching solutions that are keeping it there).
