Xavisys is extremely proud of its WordPress expertise. We devote time on a regular basis to give back to the project, and Aaron Campbell (the owner of Xavisys) has been credited as contributing to WordPress since version 2.7:

• WordPress 2.7 – This was the first time contributors were listed
• WordPress 2.8 – Unfortunately the post to release 2.8 didn’t list contributors
• WordPress 2.9
• WordPress 3.0
• WordPress 3.1
• WordPress 3.2 – This version introduced a “credits” link in the footer of the admin section where you can see the list of people that worked on your version of WordPress. Aaron was listed as a “Recent Rockstar” for this version (see image below).
• WordPress 3.3 – This version isn’t even released yet, but we’ve already worked on it.

The Rockstars are the people that are NOT on the lead development team but still did a significant amount of work to bring you WordPress 3.2

There are more than 50 million sites using WordPress and approximately 94% use WordPress 2.7 or newer, which means that over 47 million people are using some of our code on their websites. Additionally we have 23 WordPress plugins that we have publicly released with over 1 million combined downloads, and a new theme called Essence that we are especially excited about. We challenge you to find a web development company with more WordPress knowledge and experience.
