Baja Bumpers – Off-Road Tube Bumpers

Baja Bumpers is a local family owned and operated company here in Arizona, fabricating off-road accessories for desert racing and specializing in tube bumpers for off-road vehicles. They never had a web site before and were looking to establish a web presence that reflected the spirit of Baja racing. Since trucks and the desert make for great imagery, we went off with them into the desert and took photos of the gear in action, which we used for the design on the site.

Since the owner isn’t a “computer guy” (just ask him), we built the site on WordPress which he and his wife have found easy to use. We created a custom solution for the site, including a news section and photo gallery, and focusing on ease of use. Start to finish, a great project for Xavisys, and we continue to manage and expand the site on a regular basis.

After taking all their photos, which were supposed to be used to start their gallery and for the header of the site, we ended up with so many good images that we had a hard time choosing which one was best. Instead of limiting ourselves, we set the header up to randomly choose one of several images to display. This keeps the site looking fresh and new as you browse, while still keeping a consistent look throughout the site.
