The Program on Negotiation website was built completely on WordPress and is pretty complex behind the scenes. Xavisys provided integration with an existing custom payment solution and later with CyberSource’s Hosted Order Pages when Harvard decided to switch. Xavisys also provided integration with existing fulfillment centers and procedures and integration with WhatCounts for E-Mail campaigns, which included converting all their existing subscribers to the new system. Xavisys also assisted with the launch of the site on the Harvard network and much more!

I’ve seen a lot of WordPress sites that had a lot of content, but The Successful Investor is definitely up there. They already have nearly 10,000 posts that are published or pending (not to mention pages, media, etc), and they are adding new posts constantly. Those posts are organized into over 80 categories using over 1,500 tags! With that many posts and tags, we quickly ran into problems with related posts plugins causing pages to take forever to load. Xavisys developed a very customized related posts plugin using an entirely new approach to solve the problem. The basic concept of the plugin was so exciting that we couldn’t bear to have only one site using it. The one written for The successful Investor was too customized to distribute, but the concept was turned into the “Efficient Related Posts WordPress plugin” which we have released to the public. Additionally, we’re happy to announce that this site also uses our publicly available PayPal Framework to handle all it’s PayPal integration as well as to listen for IPN messages from PayPal which are then handled by other plugins!

Mequoda is a great company that helps publishers make money online. Xavisys does a lot of work with them helping to develop their clients sites to meet the Mequoda standards. Mequoda has an extremely long list of best practices that a “Mequoda site” must implement. I put “Mequoda site” in quotes because you can attend their summits, follow posts on their site, hire them to consult, and build your own site that meets the Mequoda standards. However, I have to say that I don’t think anyone builds a better Mequoda site than the team they put together over at Mequoda.
The mequoda site also uses some of our publicly released WordPress plugins, including our Efficient Related Posts plugin for all their related posts and the Improved User Experience plugin to improve the lost password functionality.

EZDispatch is a hard one to explain. It started as an in house solution for an auto transport company based out of San Diego, CA. They needed a software solution that fit the special needs of an auto transport company (which is quite different than any other kind of trucking company) for dispatching, and could work well with multiple offices since they were planning on opening another office out of state.
We developed a completely custom web based solution for them from scratch, which has since went through multiple iterations and upgrades. Dave eventually sold his auto transport company, but continues to sell EZDispatch as a service to other auto transport companies across the United States. It’s success really speaks for itself.
